On the agenda, was the finalisation of plans for the forthcoming visit to 65th Anniversary of Exercise Tiger on Slapton Sands,
and the 25th Anniversary of the raising of the Sherman Tank from the sea off Torcross.
The Tank was one of many casualties of the disasterous D-Day rehersal in 1944 when 760 American Soldiers and sailors died, after German 'E' boats infiltrated, a convoy of landing craft.
